UDC Notebook
This three-ring binder contains the UDC Handbook, UDC Ritual, and Officer/Committee Manuals. One of the basic tools for use by members and officers, it contains detailed information about everything from duties of officers and chairmen to UDC protocol for various occasions. This book is a “must have” for members and Chapters.
UDC Ritual
Contained in the UDC Notebook, the Ritual contains the format and procedure for meetings, presentations of awards and medals, and dedication of grave markers and monuments.
Annual General Minutes
Another basic tool, this publication, which is printed each year, contains names, and addresses of officers, committee chairmen, and Chapter presidents; the proceedings of the Annual General Convention; award, banner, and prize announcements; the General Bylaws; and a wealth of other important information.
UDC Magazine
Published 11 times annually (combined June-July issue), this official periodical of the UDC contains timely updates by General Officers, historical articles for use as programs at meetings, newsworthy accomplishments of Chapters and Divisions, and Children of the Confederacy news.
Jefferson Davis Historical Gold Medal
This medal is awarded to adults for excellence in the study and preservation of Confederate history, in the fields of history, essay writing, declamation, and other areas of special attainment.
Jefferson Davis Historical Silver Medal
This award is presented to school-age children who excel in the preservation of Confederate history.
Judah P. Benjamin Award
This award is presented for outstanding achievement not necessarily related to the Confederacy. The certificate is given in the fields of civic/community service, conservation, education, the environment, humanitarian efforts, and patriotic service.
