Memorial Building to the Women of the Confederacy
This is the official name of the headquarters building of the UDC in Richmond, Virginia build in 1957 on the grounds of the former R.E. Lee Camp Confederate Veterans Home. Most commonly called the Memorial Building or the Business Office, it houses the Business Office staff (available during normal business hours), filing areas (contain and preserve all official records of the Organization), the Great Hall (where meetings are held), the Caroline Meriwether Goodlett Library (contains artifacts and books on the South and the Confederacy), and the Helen Walpole Brewer Library (contains the National Archives Compiled Service Records and other records and books for research).

Annual General Convention
This is the annual meeting of the General Organization each November. In even-numbered years, it is held in Richmond, VA and officers are elected for a two-year term. In odd-numbered years, it is held in other cities and amendments to General Bylaws may be considered.
Spring Board
This is the meeting (open to all members) of the General Executive Board that is held each Spring at the Memorial Building to hear reports, hold workshops, and keep current on UDC activities.
General Executive Board
All the General Officers, Appointive Officers, ex Presidents General, Honorary Presidents of General, General Committee Chairmen, Presidents of Divisions and Chapters Where No Division, and members of the Board of Review, Memorial Building Board of Trustees, and Finance Committee comprise this board.
General Executive Committee
The General Officers comprise the General Executive Committee: President General, Vice President General, Second Vice President General, Third Vice President General, Recording Secretary General, Treasurer General, Registrar General, Historian General, and Recorder General of Military Service Awards. They oversee the operation of the General Organization between meetings of the General Executive Board and Annual General Conventions.
